Company FRANGO is a Ukrainian manufacturer of chickpea-based healthy food products.

Since 2017, we have been operating in the food reworkings sector and specialize in chickpea reworkings, and all of our products are chickpea derivatives.
Our goal is to satisfy consumers' need for vegetable protein and give people the uniqueness, benefits and taste of a chickpea product (which is a superfood in itself).

The production of vegetable protein makes it possible to significantly save drinking water, as the production of 1 ton of vegetable protein requires 20 times less water than the production of animal protein.
Realizing how important a resource drinking water is, we minimized its consumption in production. We have developed recipes for vegan sauces (mayonnaise) based on chickpea broth (aquafaba). This way, we do not pour out the water in which we cooked the chickpeas, but take this water (from the chickpea broth) for further production of another product.
Another important factor in maintaining the environment is that chickpea does not have a herbicide group (bees can fly and fertilize and are not killed by herbicides, it does not have the same effect on other insects, and it does not contaminate soil, water, or air). Chickpea is a good crop rotation crop that saturates the soil with nitrogen, which helps restore soil fertility.

It is important for us to produce products from raw materials grown in Ukraine, thus contributing to the development of agriculture in Ukraine and contributing to the development of the Ukrainian economy.

In 2021, we created Frango Hummus-snacks, an innovative product - dehydrated hummus. There is no analog of this product in the world (it is patented).
